I love the Winter Post stamp set, but seem to have trouble using it. Does anyone else have that problem? You fall in love with a stamp set when you see it, but then never use it because you can't quite figure out what to do... oh well...

Delighful Decorations

I really can't get enough of the Delightful Decorations stamp set and coordinating punch in this year's Holiday mini.

Yesterday I had the privelege of participating in a Holiday Market (home-based business vendor boutique) benefitting the Eden Prairie Relay For Life (an American Cancer Society fundraiser).

I met a lot of lovely women and some of the most beautiful little girls in the world! They seemed to enjoy my make-and-take project of Christmas gift tags.

Don't let this happen to you

So, I'm not sure why my husband hasn't left me yet, but let me share the embarassing ridiculousness that is my house right now.

Since my LARGE craft table looks like this:

And my studio desk looks like this:

I needed to use our dining table, which now looks like this:

Well, since the dining table is close to being out of control, I brought out the card table to resume a new project. But, now my card table looks like this:

So, since my sweet Sugar has started helping me clean up by licking glitter off of the floor and picking up dimensional backings for me, I guess it's time to pick up after myself.

Why, oh why can't I clean as I go??? What is wrong with me????

O Christmas Tree

OMG - could it be? Did I actually come up with a card idea on my very own? By golly I think I did! Super simple, and trust me, the photo does not do it justice the ribbon's dimension was created by running a line of SNAIL along the back of the bow tails and then twisting and finger pleating the ribbon and sticking it to the card.

Falling Leaves

Hello friends!

After a wonderful vacation to Virginia, Tennessee and everywhere in between Minneapolis and the mid-Atlantic area, I kid you not, the DAY we got home I came down with the dreaded FLU!!!

So, after a couple of weeks of recouping (and yes, crafting when I had some energy), I'm finally back to posting on the ol' blog!

Today's card is a card I made for my October card club. If you area a Stampin' Up! lover, you may recognize this layout that accompanied this set in last year's catalog. Yeah, I changed the colors a bit, but the LO is pretty much CASEd element for element.

Autumn Road Trip

Hello blog friends!!

Since I'm trying to turn over a new leaf to be a better blogger, I thought I would let you know in advance that my husband and I are heading out on the open road, driving to the east coast and back home throught the Great Smoky Mountains with the hopes of taking in the spectacular sights and fall colors along the way. Now - if we can just get the weather to cooperate...

And in case you're wondering, yes indeed, Sugar the Pup is traveling with us as well. This is her first really long road trip and she's got her bags packed and is ready for an adventure with her favorite humans.

Hopefully I'll be able to take some decent photos, which I'll share when I return - or perhaps even on the road!

Of course, I'm hoping to stop through a few scrapbook stores along the way too. Tee hee.

Take care and I'll be back in a little more than a week with some more projects!
